Towards Jakarta Fashion Week 2011 / 2012

Jakarta Fashion Week, the largest fashion event in Indonesia, will be held on 12 to 18 November 2011 in Pacific Place. Jakarta Fashion Week 2012 will provide direction fashion Indonesia in 2012 and showed the talent and creativity of the designers Indonesia. This festival will bring together fashionistas, fashion commentators, celebrities, also local and international media in one location to watch the trends and the latest work from talented designers.

This year, JFW 2012 is full supported by BRI, Mazda and The Body Shop. The annual fashion week is also cooperating with the government as an important partner through the Ministry of Trade Republic Indonesia. Representatives of cultural institutions of friendly countries, the Goethe Institute and British Council, also expressed support in Jakarta Fashion Week 2012.

"Once again, we will involve the perpetrators of fashion and fashion stakeholders to advance the Indonesian fashion industry. Like last year, we will continue to raise Indonesian's talent and make it primadonna. After working together in workshops with leading fashion institutes in Italy "Istituto Marangoni", Jakarta Fashion Week team is also holding auditions of model. Auditions model that followed 200 models are aimed at finding new talent that will be included in the Jakarta Fashion Week 2012.
